It's made from DuraCord. This DuraCord rope hammock is crafted in the tradition that dates back over 100 years. It is made from a continuous woven bed of three ply twisted rope with a soft comfortable construction. Spreader bars, made from solid oak for premium durability and strength, are triple dipped in marine spar varnish to remain beautiful over time. TRI-BEAM HammockStand Perfect for a deck, patio, or yard where trees do not abound. The Tri-Beam™ Hammock Stand from Hatteras Hammocks is the strongest and safest in the industry. It is constructed from 2" diameter 12 gauge heavy duty steel and has an unsurpassed 600 lbs weight capacity. The critical elbow joint is made using the 360-degree Right Connection, superior welding process. This weld joint has been rigorously tested and has been found to be the strongest available. The installed spring pins prevent unintentional disassembly of the stand yet provide for set up or storage in minutes with no tools. The stand is coated with the Cape Shield finishing process. Cape Shield is a special process of cleaning, preparing and powder coating the stand to make it weather resistant and offer many years of enjoyment. The stand is finished with durable vinyl caps to protect the inside of the pole ends and feet. The new "Z" hook design provides a better angle for a secure connection of hammock with stand.
