• Avoid wearing footwear and beware of buttons, zippers, buckles, and any sharp protruding object, which may snag or damage chair.
• Avoid keeping your hanging chair in direct sunlight and rain for long durations; this will give your chair greater longevity.
Fading may occur.
The point which the chair will hang from should be 2’0” taller than the overall length of the chair. For indoor use, be sure the hanging hook is
inserted directly into an overhead beam or ceiling stud. For outdoors, a chair stand, tree, or overhead beam can be used. When hung, chair
should have a clearance of approximately 2’0” from the ground. This distance can be adjusted accordingly for people of shorter or taller stature.
Additional chain or rope can be used if the ceiling is raised or a high tree branch is used.
Entering Your Hanging Chair:
Stand with your back to the hanging chair. Grasp the bottom front of the chair with both hands.
Slowly sit down, keeping the grasped portion of the chair at the back of your knees. Carefully
situate yourself in the chair until you can sit back with your backside well supported. Once you
have found a comfortable position, relax and begin to “Accomplish Nothing”!
