How long will it take to get my order? We try to have everything in stock at all time and when in stock, your order will ship in 1-2 days. Orders not in stock usually take 2-5 days to ship. Hatteras and Pawley's Island products are usually shipped in 5-7 days.

What is the best rope for a hammock? Polyester is your best choice. It is a very soft rope, often mistaken for cotton, that is highly resistant to mildew, wear and tear, and direct sun. It is the most comfortable and durable rope available today. It comes in a variety of fade resistant colors that will give you years of enjoyment. Polyester's ability to remain colorfast and mildew resistant has made it the most popular rope for hammocks and rope furniture.
What is the weight capacity? We use the thickest 7/32" rope (8mm) and our hardware is hot dipped galvanized. No other company uses connecting components larger than ours and no one uses the heavy rust-resistant galvanizing we use. Weight capacity on our hammocks and stands is 450 lbs, on our single chairs and swings is 300 lbs and on our double chairs and swings 500 lbs.
I'm confused by size descriptions what do I look for? Look for actual dimensions, some companies change names constantly, don't be fooled by a name that implies a more generous sized hammock than the dimensions justify. Typically, a 54" wide by 84" long (bed size) hammock is large enough for two adults. A 60" wide hammock is considered "family size".
Do you ship internationally? Yes, however, customs and duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping charges may be higher than shown in the shopping cart. Payment must be made in U.S. currency and in the form of a bank check, money order or credit card payments accepted. We recommend shipping to a US address.
Damaged incurred in shipping Even though rare, it is possible that some parts get damaged during shipping. In this case, we will be happy to send you a replacement as soon as possible and contact FedEx or UPS ourselves for claims and damages. We cannot ship an item with rush delivery because it has been damaged and needs to be reshipped. We prefer to keep our shipping costs as low as possible and pass than savings on to you.
